ACACIA - Genus Acacia. A woody plant in warm temperate to tropical environments, with pinnate leaves and clusters of pointy, yellow or white flowers.
BAOBAB - Tropical tree of the old world, (Adansoria), with a bulging trunk, and edible gourd-like fruit. Bark is also used for a variety of purposes.

SAGUARO - A tall, arborescent cactus, branching into sets of columnar stalks. Bears flowers and edible fruit. Whole forests of these large cactus flourish in southern Arizona, the heart of the Gila Desert, and are an essential part of this unique ecosystem. |

SUCCULENT - Any of several varieties of fleshy, juicy plants. Usually with a thick but flexible skin, and often spiny. |

YUCCA - A sometimes arborescent genus of the Lilly family, with stiff, fibrous, sharply-pointed leaves. Occasionally blossoms in the center, with a panicle of white flowers.
